Gdansk

Poland’s principal seaport and the capital of the Pomeranian Voivodeship. The city is located on the southern edge of Gdansk Bay of the Baltic Sea and togheter with city of Gdynia and Sopot form a metropolitan area called Tricity. Thanks to its beautiful architecture it considered the pearl of the coastline and the classy alternative to the typical seaside resorts. Gdansk is mostly associated with two of the most significant historic moments in 20th century- the beginning of the II World War and the end of communism era. Nowadays the city chooses to leave the politics&history on the side and focuses on its other assets. Sometimes being called the amber capital of the world Gdansk is undoubtly one of the most precious cities in Poland, a must not only for the treasure hunters.

Gdansk Lech Walesa Airport

Named after great Polish hero (and most probably the most famous electrician in the world) is one of the 3 main international airports in Poland. Often serves as an auxiliary airport for Warsaw. Located a mere 10 km from the centre of Gdansk, about the same distance from the centre of Sopot and 23 km from the centre of Gdynia provides a wide range of international connections.
